In third grade, the 'no-excuse words' are also known as level three priority words (1 - 55). These words are evaluated in spelling activities, as well as across the curriculum in written work.
The new words are the level three core words (171 - 335). These words will be introduced each Monday. Students should practice these words during the week. Throughout the week, students will also practice spelling skills. A Parent Letter will go home every Thursday night as homework. This homework will focus on the tested skill. The weekly spelling test will be on Friday.
